I got through about 10 minutes of Fallout 3 before I had to tend to other things but the way of developing your character/persona in the context of a "beginning" story was quite novel. I had never seen this in a game before, but I profess to not having played very many lately. However, this is definitely an "extra" that more game developers should be doing. Taking the G.O.A.T. is kind of silly but the premise of "defining" what your ultimate character will be like as it prepares to begin its journey should be steeped in real world scenarios and allow your actions to dictate & shape how your nature and attributes mature to a "starting" point.

The graphics are pretty decent, although nothing extremely mind blowing. (I thought Call of Duty 4 had more a more immersive graphic experience.) The smoothness on my nVidia 9600GSO card with graphic options turned up all the way is pretty damn decent.

I'm looking forward to my next session with Fallout 3 to determine if it is the game everybody has been raving about.
